Just Because

Cole had his first taste of cereal this past week. We started Blake with cereal at about the same time (3 1/2 months), so we thought it was time to give it a try. He loves it! Maybe that's because we mixed a little fruit in with it too. :) It only took him a little while to figure out how to open his mouth big and wide when he wants another bite. The first couple of times we gave it to him, he started crying when it was gone because he wanted more. I don't remember Blake ever being that into it. The best news is, it has taken him from 2 feedings a night down to 1!! I remember with Blake that everyone said to give him cereal if we wanted him to sleep longer at night, so we did and it made absolutely no difference. But so far with Cole, it is making a huge difference. I am finally getting some sleep...yay!

Since we have pulled all of the baby stuff out of the closet, Blake has found some long lost friends. One of them being the high chair which he likes to eat in while he watches TV. Notice the cheesy smile...whenever we point the camera at him now, he smiles like this and says "Cheese!".

Blake and Cole's first bath together... Devin was working that evening, and rather than give 2 baths, I thought I would put them in together. It was pretty successful if you don't count the time Blake pulled Cole under the water.

Brotherly love...Blake loves his little brother so much. He is constantly loving on him and giving him kisses. Cole's changing table used to be his safe zone from sloppy kisses, but Blake has figured out he can bring a stool over and he's the perfect height.
