This year we had to skip our annual trip to Tennessee because we had too many new babies. To make up for it, the Ferris' were gracious enough to host a Thanksgiving get-together at their house. Here is our picture from last year's trip to the mountains...

And here is this year's picture from our Thanksgiving feast. Does it look a little different? That's because since our last picture, these 5 couples have added EIGHT babies! How is this possible? 3 sets of twins!

Party Like It's 2009

Here are the pictures from Cole's birthday party. His birthday was on Saturday November 7th, so we were lucky enough to get to celebrate on his actual birthday. Opening his present from big brother Blake--the night before Cole's party Blake told me he wanted to go to Target and get a gift for Cole. It was so sweet and sincere, maybe they do actually like each other!

This one is for you, Aunt Jane! What a great picture of Dustin and Kanin! My dad made this wonderful rocking horse for Cole. With all the commotion, Cole wasn't too sure he wanted to sit in it for a picture. But since then, I can't keep him out of it. What a special gift...thank you, Grandpa!

We've Come a Long Way, Baby!

Our little guys is one! I can't believe how fast these last 12 months have gone...it's so hard to even imagine what it was like before Cole was a part of our family. Happy birthday to our smiley, persistent, easy going, thumb sucking, stubborn, ball loving, dancing, terrible sleeping, music loving, blonde haired, 2-toothed, chatty, finger-pointing, mommy snuggling Cole bear! Oh, what a difference a year makes!
