Our big guy...it's hard to get a good picture of him these days. He's too busy to sit still for too long.

Blake and Cole playing nicely together...believe me, this doesn't happen too often. Blake has a hard time sharing, but for some reason this day he didn't seem to mind sharing his Legos.

Cole is learning to sit up. So far, he needs the support of the boppy but he's getting really close to doing it on his own.

This past weekend we got Blake's pool out for the first time. It's hard to believe that just a week ago it was only in the 30's!

Cole starting eating his fruits and vegetables about a week ago. They were definitely a hit. We couldn't get him the next bite fast enough. So far his favorites are squash and bananas, and he doesn't care for carrots.

He found his feet a couple of weeks ago and they are a great source of entertainment. They are with him wherever he goes!

Just Because

Cole enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend...

You all know how much Blake loves to go for bike rides. This weekend Cole got to join him on his first bike ride. Blake loved having his little brother back there with him and was surprisingly gentle . I know Blake looks silly in this picture, but I thought Cole's reaction was priceless! I'm so happy for warm weather and shorts so we can see those little fat rolls! (Needless to say, Cole enjoyed his first time in the bike trailer.)

Blake went to the dentist for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I still can't believe it, but he did so great. He let her count his teeth and brush them, then he let the dentist look at them too. He was such a big boy. Don't ask me why his shoe is off in this picture...I have no idea.

Easter

We went to the Bunny Breakfast at the church by our house where Blake and Cole got to meet the Easter Bunny.

Blake finally found his Easter basket after a little help. The Easter Bunny was a good hider this year.

Coloring the eggs...this was much more successful than last year! Hunting for eggs in the backyard...

Cole enjoyed the egg hunt too, he just couldn't participate. He had fun hanging out and watching though.

5 months

Our little guy is 5 months old! He is still chewing on everything in sight, but no teeth yet. He has started to sleep through the night (somewhat). He'll do it for a few nights in a row, then he's back to waking up around 3:30 or 4:00 a.m. The nice thing about him not sleeping through the night is that he will sleep in until 8:30 or 9:00, where if he doesn't he's up around 7:00. When he sleeps in a little bit, it gives Blake and me some time to hang out before he wakes up (Blake is our early riser!). He's still eating his cereal like a crazy man, but we haven't started any other food yet. We probably will start with vegetables in the next couple of weeks. He is growing like a weed...he is already in 6-9 months clothes, and has been for about a month, because he is so long. His favorite things are watching his big brother play, playing Pat-a-cake, and playing with his turtle rattle that Aunt Jane got him for Christmas. He's our happy, patient baby!

Sesame Street Live

Last night we went to Sesame Street Live! My mom thought it would be fun to go, so she treated Blake and I to a night out. It was awesome! Blake had such a great time. I didn't know that there was anything in the world that would make him sit in one place for an hour and half. He was mesmerized.

Blake and Mommy...yes that is an Elmo balloon I am holding. Blake and Cole are the only two people in the world that could convince me to spend $8 on a balloon!
