Swimming

We went to the Plainfield Aquatic Center to make a rainy Saturday a little more enjoyable. Blake is such a water bug and I think Cole is going to be too. Blake ran around like a crazy man the whole time we were there and Cole just hung out--you wouldn't have even known he was there. He seemed to really enjoy the water.
This guy has no fear when it comes to the water...bring it on!

Cole's new toy...and look how nicely Blake is playing in the background. This is a rare occurrence.
Our first trip to the park this year: Cole liked hanging out in the swings while Blake and Daddy played.
Cole's new cheesy smile...he's loving the outdoors!
Blake playing on the jungle gym...
This is what happens when I leave the room with Cole on the floor...Blake seems to think Cole is a doll that he can do with whatever he wants. Generally, Cole is pretty tolerant of it, but sometimes he has just had enough!
For a long time I couldn't get Blake to look at the camera. Now whenever he even sees a camera, he smiles like this and says "Cheese!".

Update

Cole had his 4 month checkup today and everything looked great (other than the fact that Blake has an ear infection!). He weighs 14lb. 4.5 oz. (35%) and is 25.5in. long (70%). He is still completely opposite of Blake at this age who was rolly polly, short and chunky!

4 Months Old!

Cole was 4 months old on March 7th. He goes to the doctor on Wednesday so I will update later with how big he is getting. His newest accomplishment is reaching for and grabbing things...pretty much whatever he can get his hands on. His favorite things though are blankets or stuffed animals that he can easily pull up to his mouth for chewing. He drools like crazy and everything goes into his mouth. Are teeth on the way or is it too early? He's still the happiest little guy you would ever meet!

Read and Play Group

These pictures were taken last week at the Read and Play group at the Plainfield library. Blake had a great time with all the kids and enjoyed getting out of the house...a rare occasion these days! (Blake is the one in the green shirt in case you couldn't find him amongst all of the craziness!)
