Cutie Pie

Snow Day

Blake has been waiting since last Christmas to get enough snow to finally use his sled. It was worth the wait...he loved every minute of it!
Cole even got to join in the fun. He slept through the whole thing, but I think he enjoyed his first time in the snow.

2 months

I'm a little behind, but here is Cole's 2 month picture. It is amazing to see how much he has changed since 1 month. At 2 months, he is weighing in at 11 lb 10.5 oz and is 24 inches long. So far, he's tall and skinny...completely opposite of his big brother.
It's so much easier to keep him entertained now that he likes his swing and exersaucer. I just can't believe he is already big enough to fit into them. He was 11 weeks old on Friday, so I will soon have his 3 month picture to post too. And, I haven't forgotten about Blake...I will try to get some good pictures of him soon and share those with you too.

All Smiles

Cole was 8 weeks old yesterday. It's already going so fast, but it's fun to see him starting to interact with us a little more. He started smiling a couple of weeks ago and I just got around to taking some pictures of his cute little smile.
Of course Blake likes to show us that he can smile too. Whenever we ask Cole to smile, Blake says "See Blake is smiling!"

Christmas

Sorry it has taken me so long to post Christmas pictures. I took way too many and it took me a while to sort through them. Most of them didn't turn out that great because Blake wasn't too interested in looking at the camera, so I got a lot of pictures of his back. He was too into opening his gifts. It was so much fun this year to see how much he enjoyed himself. He seemed to think that every present was for him and thought he could open them all. Lucky for him, Cole is too young to care that big brother opened all of his presents! Christmas eve we went to my parent's house. Grandpa Hoover made Blake a step stool with his name on it in puzzle pieces. Blake loves it and carries it around the house whenever he wants to see something. The other day he carried it all the way upstairs so he could look at himself in the mirror!
Cole enjoying the festivities...he actually slept through most of it, but came to a little bit at the end.
Opening a Little Einsteins book...all in all it was a Little Einstein, train, puzzle Christmas. All of Blake's favorites.
A new Thomas the Train computer from Grandma and Grandpa Hoover...
Christmas Eve at our house, the boys got to open their annual Christmas ornament. Blake got Rocket from Little Einsteins.
Cole "opening" his ornament...
Our tree Christmas morning...it was strange to have an extra stocking this year!
Blake opening his gift from his cousins Mia and Molly...
One of Blake's favorite gifts this Christmas...Rocket! The most favorite gift of all...a train table! Hanging his ornament on the tree...The day after Christmas we went to Cincinnati to spend time with Devin's family. Blake's great-Grandpa Davis made him 2 really fun puzzles. They are even more special because they were handmade just for him!
