Halloween

This year for Halloween, Blake was a lion! It was his first time trick-or-treating and we weren't sure how it would go, but he loved it! He went up to the doors and said "trick or treat" then he would help himself to some candy and say "thank you". We were shocked at how well he did. And we were even more shocked that he kept the hood up the whole time on his lion costume..it was a miracle!

Apple Orchard

A couple of weeks ago, we went to visit some friends in Elkhart and got to go to a fun apple orchard. This is Blake and his friend Noah--they got to pick their apples right off the tree and eat them. They were delicious!

We finally finished Cole's room, so I thought I would post some pictures so you can see it. The only thing missing is him!

Here I am at 36 weeks...I am now a little over 37 weeks and getting a little (ok- a lot) antsy since Blake had already made his big arrival by this point. I guess Cole is going to be our patient one. Here's his room...

And because we can't leave anyone out, here is Blake's new big boy room. He is so proud of it...whenever anyone comes over he has to show them his new room. Even if they have seen it a dozen times!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Beasley's Orchard this weekend to pick out Blake's pumpkin. Here he is in the pre-picked pumpkins, but we got ours from the pumpkin patch. We took a hayride out to the patch then got to pick from the many pumpkins! He also got to play in a bounce house, get a balloon animal, and walk through a corn maze. He was exhausted by the end of the morning!

In the pumpkin patch... Blake and Daddy... Playing in the bounce house... Walking through the corn maze: The walking didn't last long...Blake made Daddy carry him most of the way, but Blake loved looking for the numbered clues to guide the way.

Outdoor Fun
