Tennessee 2008

It's that time of year again...the annual Tennesse trip! Well, maybe a few weeks early--I was going to be little too pregnant to travel in October, so our friends were gracious enough to change the date for us. Here's the group..up 1 from last year for a total of 14! Our cabin...Mountain Horizon The view from one of the balconies...Devin, Blake and me Another view of our cabin... Since the men are so sweet to make us dinner every year, we decided we would dress up for them this time. I think they enjoyed it?:) Megan, Amie, me, Karen, and Sarah Todd and Jordan serving dinner--steaks, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, salad...yummy! Sarah being escorted to the table--what gentlemen! The girls decided to return the favor by cooking for the men. We had a fiesta! Playing a little music to set the tone... The festive table setting...we saved the pinata until the next day when the kids were awake, and it was a "hit"! Isabel, Blake, and Ava trying to get at the pinata... Blake taking the horse for a ride... Once the kids gave up, the big kids gave it a try. Blake, Devin, Sarah, Isabel, Terry, Amie, and Ava enjoying the pool... I didn't pack Blake's bathing suit, so he's wearing only a swim diaper. No, it is not a Speedo.

Blake loves bears! They were everywhere down there and they were one of his favorite things. Whenever we ask him what he did in Tennessee he always says "bears". Blake and Isabel... Blake blowing bubbles... Blake and Ava playing...

Pure joy...if only there were more things in the world that could make us this happy.
