Blake opening presents from the Easter Bunny...he got a sticker book, a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse book with magnetic characters, some Play-Doh, and a bubble wand.

Coloring Easter eggs...his favorite color was "bue".

OK-let's be honest...the egg coloring did not go so well. Blake was upset that he couldn't dump over the cups of coloring, so he got put on the floor which prompted this lovely tantrum.

The Easter egg hunt was a success though! He had a great time searching the house for his eggs.

So proud of himself...

His eggs were all filled with change, so when he was all done he got to put his money in his piggy bank.

After a brief rest from all of the Easter fun, Blake was ready to decorate the eggs. This was much less dramatic than the coloring! We decorated the eggs with a zoo theme so Blake was thrilled.

Devin and his friend Terry spent this past Saturday listening to who they hope is the next President of the United States! How often does a Presidential candidate come to a town like Plainfield? Is anyone surprised that Devin yelled "I love you, Barack!" during a brief silence, and Obama responded with "Love you back" over the load speaker!?

Spring is here...for now

We finally got to go the park! Blake has been going crazy to get outside, so since the weather finally cooperated we took a trip to the park. Blake's favorite things are leaves, sticks, and rocks and there is plenty of all of those things at the park. The nice mark on his forehead is from Gymboree this week.Throwing rocks into the creek...this is one of Blake and Grandpa's favorite things to do when they are hanging out together too.

Looking totally confused as to why I am sticking a camera in his face instead of pushing the swing...
