Happy Birthday!

Blake just celebrated his first birthday on May 25th. Here a few pictures from his birthday and his party. We have many more party pictures to post, but still have to sift through them. We'll post them soon, I promise! Thank you so much to everyone who made Blake's birthday so special!

This is a picture of Blake's birthday balloon cupcakes that I made. He didn't really seem to notice, but I thought they were cute! He may not have noticed how cute the cupcakes looked, but he sure did like to eat them! What a mess!Here's messy Blake with Mom and Dad. These two are pictures of the birthday boy opening his presents. We got him a swimming pool and a bicycle trailor, and he got tons of wonderful gifts at his party. As you can see though, he was more interested in eating the cards than what was in the packages! Thanks again to everyone who helped us give Blake such a wonderful first birthday! A special "thank you" to Blake's Great-Grandpa Brennan for coming all the way from Florida to help us celebrate--what a great surprise!

Almost 1!

What a happy guy! Blake will be 1 in 3 weeks and is growing like crazy. He is walking all over the place and definitely keeps us hopping. We love every minute of it! Blake and mommy...he just discovered how much fun the glass on the front door can be. I've given up trying to keep the little fingerprints off of it. Here is Blake with two of his girlfriends--Ava(8 1/2 months) and Isabel (5 months). What a lucky guy!

Blake loves to be outside. I don't know what we did all winter being cooped up inside. Check out those teeth! Why do boys get so lucky with the long eyelashes?
